Shouma caught her blushing eventhough she tried her best efforts to hide it, ‘Did I embarass you?’ he thought with him even giggling himself. This is the first time Shouma saw Ringo smile this whole-heartedly and not while she was chasing Tabuki-san and it made him smile even more.
‘That’s great! I don’t think Tabuki-san will mind either, with him being busy with his wedding to Yuri after all-‘, Shouma stopped adruptly not thinking and just slipped it out and he saw Ringo’s face fall he knew how much Tabuki-san meant to her. He quickly changed the subject ‘Ahh I-I’ll just text Aniki to tell Tabuki-san that I felt ill and I’d catch up the work tommorrow!’ Shouma flipped out his phone in a hurry, and began texting.
‘Don’t worry about it!’ Shouma raised his hand in a reassuring way, ‘It’ll be alright!’
‘Eh, pitch in?’, Shouma repeated, he remembered Aniki giving him advice earlier today and the number 1 rule: was to never let the girl pay for the date, as he was an old school player. Shouma listened to his every word, he wanted this day to go perfect after all. ‘No, no that won’t be nessecary, Oginome-san! It’s your treat after all!’, He smiled and placed his hand on her shoulder giving her a reasuring look. ‘Kanba, has lots of money from his part-time job he has so I’ll just tell him to get some food! I’m always doing the housework anyway.’ He suddenly remembered all those times Himari called him the perfect husband, Me, a husband?
He began to chuckle and looked again at Ringo who looked bemused by the offer, he knew how much she wanted to help and how she felt guilty over it, but he knew that Ringo probably didn’t eat at home because of he mother working so late.
‘I know, why don’t we get some curry! You know, curry tastes better with people you love. Remember when you said that?’, ‘Come on,lets go!’. Shouma said while reaching for her hand playfully, it was a brave move for Shouma with how inexperienced he was with love and showing signs of affections he thought he was going too fast. He looked down in embarrassment and only looked up when he felt a warm presence in the palm of his hand.
He was delighted when he found her hand in his, she looked away in a look of embarrassment. Shouma stared at her and smiled himself ’Okay!, the curry shop it’s quite away from here!’.‘Let’s Go!’. They started running hand in hand, Shouma leading the way (since he didn’t want to waste any time), little did Ringo know that he was leading her in the ooposite direction and he was leading her to the Takakurahome instead. He planned to cook for her; her favourite dish. The thought of Ringo eating his food for the first time sent flutters in his stomach, was this what they called love? Was he even able to feel that emotion so strong after all that’s happened?. Is this the strong desire she had when she was chasing Tabuki around? All he knew was that he wanted to make this big,browned eye girl happy. No matter what!
Things seemed to have gone well, or at least… before she was reminded about that travesty that threatens the very means of her destiny. Placing a hand on his shoulder, she looked at him with a slight distaste in her eyes.
“….Shouma…What did I tell you earlier about the wedding…?”
Any other day, she’d have laid one in on Shouma for so much as bringing up the wedding between Tabuki-san and that “Yuri”. Regarding that matter, she was still sore about things. But, after thinking it through, she thought best to not do so for now. It was her day off, and she was going to enjoy it.
Ringo was relieved, however, when he picked up the vibes of her not being in the slightest amused about this matter, and bless him, he was trying to change the topic! So maintaining her composure, she looked over to Shouma as he started texting that Aniki of his…
“Alright, Sho-uma-kun!”
The topic quickly changed to the subject of her pitching in or not for the restaurant. Usually, Ringo being Ringo, she wouldn’t stop until she had things her way. However, somehow her stomach seemed to be overriding her thoughts.

Just by mentioning curry, Ringo felt her mouth water like crazy. Maybe it would be ok if he paid this time? Having rarely spent time eating with anybody at home, what with her parents busy most of the time, not only was it one of her favourite meals, but she was going to eat out with Shouma… Who remembered that statement she once said, about food tasting better with people when…

She was excited…to go with Shouma…?
This was new. A new concept indeed.
This was bad. This very concept was putting her project at a big risk.
But it didn’t mean to say she was going to deny anything though, about these feelings she was feeling just now… Just… She wanted to see what could possibly happen. Looking on at him bemusedly, her cheeks once again flushed a little as his warm hand held onto hers so suddenly.
